Q: Do I need an appointment?

A: Yes, appointments are essential. We operate by appointment only and are unable to accommodate walk-ins. This allows us to give every client the time and care they deserve.

Q: Do you sell gift vouchers?

A: Yes! As we operate by appointment only, we’re unable to accommodate walk-in gift voucher purchases. The best way to buy a voucher is online by clicking here or in person at your next appointment.

As part of our sustainability commitment, all vouchers are digital and sent directly via email — no paper, no waste.

Q: Do you treat all skin types and tones?

Q: How do I know which treatment is right for me?

A: We begin every journey with a thorough skin consultation. From there, we tailor a treatment plan that works for your skin—not just skin in general.

A: Absolutely. Every product we use aligns with our commitment to ethical, sustainable skincare—no animal testing, no compromise.

Q: How should I prepare for my appointment?

A: Come with a clean face and a curious mind. If you’re using active skincare (like retinol or acids), we ask that you pause using these for a few days before your appointment. We’ll guide you!

Q: What should I wear to my appointment?

A: Your treatment will include your face, neck, and décolletage. You may be asked to remove your shirt and tuck bra straps under your arms, with a wrap-style gown provided for privacy. If you’d prefer to stay dressed, a sleeveless or singlet-style top works perfectly.

You’ll also need to remove your shoes and socks, so we recommend wearing something easy to slip off. Some treatments include a foot and lower leg massage—shorts above the knee or pants that are easy to remove make this more comfortable.

Q: Is there parking nearby?

​A: Yes! The Black Rabbit is located on Hunter Street, with plenty of on-street and off-street parking nearby. Depending on which parking lot you choose and time of day, parking fees may apply. We recommend checking out Newcastle City Council's parking map for more details.
We're also located along Newcastle's tram line (near the Civic tram stop), making access easy if you don't want to deal with city parking. 

Q: Where exactly is The Black Rabbit located?

​A: We are located at shop 7/451-459 Hunter Street, Newcastle NSW.

We're in the same arcade as Newy Burger Co, making the skin clinic both secluded and easy to find.
